Note: I should be sending some emails right now but I’m a chronic procrastinator

A little bit about me: at the time of writing this (8:45 PM on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, in case I forget to update this) I am a recently graduated high school senior at Cambridge Rindge and Latin on a gap year before joining the Yale Class of 2026. I’m someone who reads the news, possibly to an unhealthy degree, In the course of doing so I’ve formed some opinions that I’d like to share. A lot of these opinions have been influenced by the journalists whose work I follow, so my number one goal in this newsletter is to not restate in less eloquent terms the ideas that others have put forward. To that end, I do use a lot of hyperlinks to point readers in the direction of articles that influenced my thinking on a particular issue or make an argument more elegantly than I could. And sometimes those links are just there to provide context for an issue or explain a reference.

On a final note, please email me if you spot any factual or grammatical errors in a post so that I can correct them.
